If you have a tooth that has been damaged by decay, advanced gum disease or a fracture, we'll do everything we can to repair it and restore it with a filling, crown or other treatment. Sometimes, though, the damage is too extensive for the tooth to be repaired. These are the most common reasons for extracting a tooth. Depending on the results of the diagnostics, we may recommend that you see a specialist for more complicated extractions with compacted teeth or wisdom teeth.
